Before getting started with Cart+ lets see how it works and what features it has that you can use to improve your store.

How Cart+ App Works

Cart+ replaces your cart page and your theme’s cart drawer with an intuitive and flexible cart drawer that helps both you and your customers.

It helps you increase your revenue by showing different product upsell options to customers.
It helps the customers by adding an intuitive cart drawer to your store that can be easily accessed and instantly loaded from anywhere of your store.

When you install Cart+ App, it processes all your orders. You can learn more on how Cart+ App works here.

Activating the App

After installing the App, complete these 2 steps to activate the app.

Step 1: Enable the App Extension

From your Shopify admin Dashboard, Sales Channel > Online Store, and click the click the Customize button.
Then from the Theme customization screen, click the Theme Settings tab.
Then click the App Embeds tab.
Finally Activate the Cart+ Cart Drawer & Upsell App

Step 2: Activate the App from the App Interface

Go to the Cart+ App Dashboard page.
Click the activate button to activate the app.

Quick Setup Wizard

After installing Cart+ you can easily get started with our quick wizard feature. Once you install Cart+ the Quick wizard will help you quickly set up Cart+ in a few steps. The Wizard has 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Enabling Upsell Modules

In this step you can enable the modules you want to activate on your store. There are 7 Upsell modules in Cart+ app. You can skip this step and activate/deactivate the modules later if you want. You can learn more about the upsell modules here.

Step 2: Changing the default Cart Style

In this step you can quickly change the colors of different elements to match your store theme in one go. You can skip this step and change the element colors later if you want.

Step 3: Activating the App

If you have just installed Cart+ you need to first activate the Cart+ App embed option from your theme settings. To do that, from your Shopify Store admin page, Go to Sales Channel > Online Store, and then click the Customize Button. Once the Customize Page loads, click the Theme Settings tab, and then click the App Embeds tab, and enable Cart+ App.

Once you have done that, click the Complete Setup button from the Wizard to get Started.

Customizing the Cart Drawer

To Customize the Cart Drawer, click the Cart Setup tab. This will open up the Cart Setup page that will let you customize the App any way you want.

The Settings Section are divided into 2 sections.

The Basic section lets you customize how the cart works and style the cart.
The Upsells Section lets you enable disable upsell modules, customize them and style them any you want.
