CartPlus

Terms and Conditions

Read the CartPlus terms covering merchant responsibilities, storefront use, billing, payment integrations, accounts and commerce services.

Agreement to these terms

CartPlus is presented on this site as a unit of Amvention Private Limited in India. By creating a CartPlus account, managing a CartPlus store, joining an organization, using platform features, or interacting with a storefront powered by CartPlus, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any product, billing, privacy, or policy terms referenced by them.

Store owner and account responsibility

The person or organization that creates, controls, or pays for a CartPlus store is responsible for that account and store. If you create or manage an account for an employer, client, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms and to manage the store on its behalf.

  • Keep account credentials, OTPs, API keys, webhooks, integrations, and team permissions secure.
  • Publish accurate legal name, business contact details, product information, prices, taxes, payment options, delivery terms, refund terms, and customer support details.
  • Make sure each team member has permission to access the stores, customers, orders, and settings available to them.
  • Promptly update information that becomes inaccurate, expired, misleading, or no longer authorized.

Domains and storefront publishing

If CartPlus helps you connect or purchase a domain, you are responsible for the domain name, renewal settings, registration details, DNS configuration, trademark clearance, and any transfer or renewal charges shown at the time of request. CartPlus may disable, suspend, or stop renewing a domain or storefront when an account is inactive, unpaid, terminated, transferred, or in breach of these terms.

CartPlus platform rights

CartPlus may improve, modify, restrict, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, products, stores, integrations, content, or accounts when needed for security, reliability, compliance, abuse prevention, product direction, support, billing, or business operations. We may request documentation to resolve account ownership, payment, security, or compliance disputes and may make the final platform decision based on available information.

Seller responsibilities

CartPlus provides commerce software and related services. Unless CartPlus separately states otherwise in writing, sales made through a storefront are directly between the merchant and the customer. Merchants are responsible for products and services offered, order acceptance, fulfillment, delivery, pickup, cancellation, returns, refunds, warranty claims, taxes, licenses, customer support, and compliance with Indian laws that apply to their business, products, locations, and customers, including consumer protection, e-commerce, GST, legal metrology, food safety, product safety, payment, privacy, and sector-specific rules where applicable.

Prohibited activity

You may not use CartPlus for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harmful, infringing, or fraudulent activity. Prohibited activity includes false or misleading representations, counterfeit or unauthorized goods, phishing or scams, forgery, identity theft, hacking, malware, unauthorized access, illegal or restricted products, dangerous goods, controlled substances, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, medicines, food, cosmetics, financial products, or other regulated goods offered without required Indian approvals, content that violates third-party rights, and activity that interferes with platform security or reliability.

API, integrations, and fair use

Where CartPlus provides APIs, webhooks, automation, message templates, payment connections, marketplace connections, or other integrations, you must use them within published limits, fair use expectations, provider rules, Indian telecom and messaging rules, payment provider terms, and applicable law. You are responsible for activity performed with your credentials, tokens, connected accounts, and integration settings.

Fees, taxes, and refunds

You are responsible for keeping valid billing information on file and paying subscription fees, transaction fees, usage fees, add-on fees, domain fees, integration charges, GST and other taxes, and other amounts shown in the dashboard, invoice, checkout, or written agreement. Fees may be billed in Indian rupees unless another currency is shown, and may be billed monthly, annually, per transaction, or by another agreed schedule. If payment fails or remains overdue, CartPlus may retry the charge, limit access, freeze store activity, downgrade features, suspend services, or terminate the account.

You are responsible for GST, TDS or withholding where applicable, duties, levies, filings, invoices, e-invoicing or e-way bill obligations where applicable, and compliance obligations connected to your store, products, customers, payments, and use of CartPlus. Unless a written agreement or applicable Indian law says otherwise, paid fees are non-refundable, including when you stop using the service before the end of a billing period.

Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential business, technical, financial, product, security, customer, or operational information from the other. Confidential information must be used only to perform obligations under these terms, provide or use CartPlus, receive support, resolve disputes, or comply with law, and must be protected with reasonable care.

Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of store names, logos, product photos, descriptions, files, catalog data, messages, and other materials you upload or provide. You grant CartPlus a license to host, store, copy, display, transmit, format, modify for technical compatibility, and publish those materials as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and promote the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to the materials you upload.

Third-party services

CartPlus may connect with third-party services such as payment processors, communication providers, analytics providers, delivery tools, marketplace feeds, domain services, and other integrations. CartPlus does not control those providers and is not responsible for their services, outages, fees, rules, or data handling. By enabling a third-party service, you authorize CartPlus to share the information needed to provide that connection.

Feedback and reviews

If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, reviews, testimonials, or product requests, CartPlus may use them without restriction or compensation, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Do not submit confidential information through feedback channels unless we have agreed in writing to receive it confidentially.

Privacy

CartPlus handles personal information according to the Privacy Policy. Merchants are responsible for privacy notices, consents, lawful bases, retention practices, customer requests, and data protection obligations that apply to their own storefronts, customers, staff, and connected services under Indian privacy and data protection requirements where applicable.

Governing law and India jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes relating to CartPlus, these terms, billing, accounts, storefronts, or platform services will be handled by courts or forums in India with competent jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer, regulatory, or payment dispute process that applies under Indian law.

Limitation of liability and indemnity

CartPlus is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, CartPlus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by merchant activity, customer disputes, third-party services, outages, unauthorized access caused by user conduct, legal non-compliance, or content uploaded by users. You agree to defend and indemnify CartPlus from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your store, products, content, use of the service, breach of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

Term and termination

You may request cancellation through the dashboard or by contacting CartPlus support. CartPlus may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay fees, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or if continued service would harm CartPlus, users, merchants, customers, providers, or the public. When service ends, CartPlus may deactivate or downgrade the store, stop providing features, stop automatic domain renewal, remove public access, and require outstanding fees to be paid. Some terms continue after termination where needed for billing, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, indemnity, disputes, and records.
